Bids Awarded For Torrington Middle-high School Project
The Torrington City Council has approved initial bids for the $179 million Torrington middle-high school project, first approved by voters in 2020, including a $6.67 million contract to Marguerite Concrete for concrete work.
Construction is set to begin in October, with the S/L/A/M Collaborative leading the design phase to balance the district’s educational needs with innovative trends. The 310,000-square-foot school will feature modern facilities, including an engineering lab, while adhering to budget constraints.
