Boston’s First Inclusive Living Building 7INK Completed
7INK, Boston’s first inclusive living building and the final addition to the Ink Block, was completed in April 2022. This 148,580-square-foot, 14-story high-rise offers 352 furnished rental units, including traditional apartments, studios, and shared suites with private bedrooms and shared kitchens and baths. Designed by Elkus Manfredi and developed by National Development, the building features co-working and social spaces, a penthouse with an outdoor deck, and a unique home for the 1960s-era Boston Garden scoreboard. Constructed on a tight urban site, the project utilized innovative techniques like hydro-mobiles for façade installation while maintaining operations at adjacent businesses. The building redefines housing in Boston with its emphasis on shared living and modern amenities.
