Community Celebrates Long-Awaited New Beverly Police Station
The community celebrated the grand opening of the long-awaited Beverly Police Station, a state-of-the-art 32,000-square-foot facility, on September 17. Built by W.T. Rich, the new station features advanced technology, a modern security system, a joint police/fire dispatch center, and a simulation training room designed to enhance real-world law enforcement training. Despite challenges such as busy surroundings, difficult soil conditions, and proximity to the Bass River, the project was completed with meticulous planning and efficiency. Located on Elliott Street, the station represents a significant milestone for Beverly, fulfilling a three-decade vision to better serve its officers and the community.
