Marguerite Concrete played a vital role in the $200 million UMass Amherst Student Housing project at 345 Lincoln Ave. This development replaced the Lincoln Apartments with three new buildings, adding 825 undergraduate and graduate beds. The project, managed by Suffolk Construction and Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions, included a $4.13 million concrete package of foundations, slabs, and podiums to support a panelized wood framing system.
Marguerite supplied 8,000 cubic yards of concrete through Construction Services and 240 tons of reinforcing steel and welded wire fabric from White Cap/HarMac, ensuring structural excellence. Completed between March 2022 and November 2023, this project showcases Marguerite’s expertise in large-scale residential construction.
