Boston, MA
General Contractor: Gilbane Building Company
Started: April 2021
Completed: June 2024

About the Project

Marguerite Concrete contributed to the $140 million UMass Boston Quadrangle Redevelopment, transforming the campus into a sustainable green space. The project, led by Gilbane Building Company, involved demolishing the existing Science Center and Pool Complex to construct new tunnel foundations and a $12 million site concrete package.

Marguerite used 6,000 cubic yards of concrete from Boston Sand & Gravel and 550 tons of reinforcing steel and welded wire fabric from Rebars & Mesh, ensuring durability and quality. This redevelopment, completed between April 2021 and June 2024, highlights Marguerite’s expertise in large-scale infrastructure projects.
